In an article in Glamour magazine Christian Louboutin expressed that he does not actually get his ideas from fashion but from art. "Even an interesting conversation I've had with someone."
He says it is easier to look your best if you have confidence and trust that you know what you look good in.
His advice to all women is "If you are going to buy just one pair of shoes, make it a neutral-coloured pump with nothing that imprisons the ankle."

You know, I love shopping, and you have just added something extra to my shopping list: Nude Sparkly shoes. As If I don't have a load on my list already! I love how nude is a colour that can be worn with ANYTHING. Thanks for the advice. Definitely going to remember, this is a must have xxxxx
